Air India Airlines Baggage Allowance

The baggage allowance depends on the type of fare chosen. 

• For Economy Comfort the checked-in baggage allowance is 20 kg, for Comfort Plus it is 25 kg and for Flex it is 25 kg.

• For Executive Class, Comfort Plus the checked-in baggage allowance is 35 kg for Flex it is 40 kg. 

• For First Class, the checked-in baggage allowance is 40 kg. 

• For international flights, the baggage allowance depends on the destination. The maximum weight of a piece of checked-in baggage should not exceed 32 kg.

Passengers with a confirmed Air India flight booking can do web or mobile check-in through the airline’s website. The rules for web check-in are as follows:

Check-in Air India Domestic Flights

Passengers can check in 48 hours to 1 hour before the scheduled Air India flight departure. Passengers can log into the airline’s website and click the Check-in option.
